Department of the Navy Internship: Apply by Friday!!!

I graduated from LSU in 2009 with my Business degree and am now working for the Department of Defense.  They sent out some internship info for college grads (Bachelors and Masters) or soon to be grads looking for jobs and thought the School of Business students might be interested.  I am in a similar program and could answer any questions students might have.  They stop accepting applications after Friday so they will need to apply ASAP.

Position: Financial Management Analyst

- I believe you only need to have a couple Finance classes and 20 units of business classes -

Where: Point Mugu, CA

Pay: Varies, but if it's similar to my program then -

1st year: $40,000 - Approximately

2nd year: $50,000

3rd year: $60,000 - Graduate Internship at the end of 3rd year

4th year: $75,000+

How do I qualify for the position(s)?

• Meet the minimum qualification standards for a GS-7 level position (see link below) and meet Superior Academic Achievement (SAA) requirements, generally a 2.95 GPA. More detailed SAA requirements can be found at http://www.opm.gov/qualifications/policy/ApplicationOfStds-04.asp.
• Attain your degree by June 31, 2011.
• Upload your resume and all transcripts by the Close Date, noted above.
• Obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.  We will assist you with this process.
