Overview: Corporate media sales position for a new regional business and community news-style program. "Today's Inland Empire" is both a regional cable and internet based news style program, offering clients over a ½ dozen separate media outlets for their programming segments.

The ideal salesperson will use our leads, their contacts, and their advanced prospecting skills to sell programming segments in our new regional cable and internet based news-style program "Today's Inland Empire." The realistic first-quarter goal is to sell six segments a month, with the initial income potential of at least $3,000.00 a month.. The second-quarter goal and beyond is to sell twelve segments a month, with the income potential of at least $7,000.00 or more a month.

Employee Requirements
At least 2 -3 years media and/or corporate sales background
BA in Business a plus
Proven sales record
Sound prospecting abilities
Strong closing skills
Ability to plan ahead for multiple deadlines
Excellent oral/written communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to work under pressure

The Altek Media Group is a full service advertising and multi-media company that has been providing a wide range of advertising and media services to clients all over Southern California for the past thirty years. We are seeking an experienced corporate advertising and/or media sales professional with corporate sales experience here in the Inland Empire. The ideal salesperson will have contacts in both the civic and business communities and the ability needed to reach decision-makers in this diverse market. They will need to be able to sell advertising and/or multi-media services to both civic leaders and staff, as well as large regional and/or national companies with interest in the Inland Empire.
