Job Opportunity | Law Firm Research Analyst

The Robbins Umeda Law Firm is looking for a full time highly motivated, pro-active self starter to join the team as a Research Analyst in our Corporate Research Department. The project-driven research and analysis conducted by the analyst requires successful collaboration within a team environment; as a result, the candidate must be well-spoken, good natured, and possess a commitment to work successfully in a team environment as well as independently. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, possess superior analytical skills, have excellent judgment and attention to detail, and have superior communication skills.

Research Analysts compile and analyze data using a variety of databases and online resources including Bloomberg, LexisNexis, and Thomson Financial in order to develop factual allegations and conduct thorough examinations of company financial statements and SEC filings. They are responsible for presenting findings through the creation of written memos, tables, charts, and statistical models in Excel and other applications. The analysts work directly with attorneys and collaborate within the research department to assist attorneys with the substantiation of legal claims against officers and directors of public corporations who have defrauded and/or mismanaged the company. This is an entry-level position.
