Interns participate on real client engagements and are likely to be exposed to trial balance software to prepare work papers on field laptop computers, tax software to prepare corporate and individual tax returns, planning and execution of audit engagements, analysis of various balance sheet and income statement accounts, taking physical inventories, preparation of financial statements, internal projects. Interns will be challenged and receive periodic performance feedback.

Following the orientation, interns begin assignments under the supervision and guidance of experienced audit and accounting staff. They receive feedback through a one-on-one mentor relationship with the internship program director, as well as performance evaluations following each engagement by their supervisors. A mid-term and final evaluation meeting are also held with the audit partner and director of recruiting. Students applying for the internships must have completed their intermediate accounting courses.
